Junk Removal Services in Caldwell

Caldwell is Canyon County's county seat, and that shows up in what gets hauled off here. Old Town and the Steunenberg Historic District sit near the College of Idaho, full of homes built in the early 1900s with decades of stuff stacked in garages, attics and outbuildings. Head out toward North Caldwell, Canyon Hill or the newer stretches like Heritage Meadows and Mandalay Ranch, and you get a different mix: suburban garages, bigger lots, more room to accumulate.

Caldwell's trash and recycling run through Republic Services, and it's the only hauler allowed in city limits. They'll pick up large items for an extra fee if you call ahead, but there are limits - appliances need the Freon pulled first, carpet is capped at a few rolls, and anything bundled has to stay under a certain size and weight. Once a load doesn't fit those rules, or you just don't want to wait on a scheduled pickup, that's where junk removal comes in.

The city also runs a free cleanup week in spring and another the week after the holidays, when unlimited trash, bulk items and non-Freon appliances go out at the curb at no cost. Outside those windows, or for anything bigger than curbside can handle, you're looking at hauling it yourself to Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill south of Nampa, or having someone else deal with the drive, the covered-load rules and the sorting.

Yard waste has its own path too - Caldwell takes it curbside year-round in kraft paper bags, with a fall leaf drop-off and halved Christmas trees around the holidays. But bigger yard cleanups, old fencing, or a garage and attic finally getting cleared out usually produce more than a few paper bags can handle.
