Junk Removal in Star, ID

Junk Removal Services in Star

Star keeps growing fast, and you can see it in the mix of jobs this creates. New subdivisions like Heron River, Star River Estates, Movado Estates, and Skybreak are filling in, while older rural-residential properties along the Boise River corridor still sit on bigger lots. That split means two different kinds of junk removal calls: hauling move-in debris and leftover furniture from a brand-new house, or clearing years of accumulated stuff off an acreage property.

On the newer subdivision side, it's usually straightforward — old furniture, appliances, packing material, and whatever didn't make the cut during the move. On the rural side, it's a different job entirely. A lot of the horse properties and hobby farms along the river come with sheds, barns, or outbuildings that have been collecting old equipment, broken fencing, feed buckets, and worn-out gear for years, and none of that is quick to sort through on your own.

Star sits in Ada County, and the county landfill is out past the north Boise foothills off Seamans Gulch Road, reachable from Star via Highway 44 or 55. It takes most household trash, yard waste, scrap metal, clean wood, and construction debris, but tires and Freon-containing appliances carry a separate fee, loads need to be tarped or strapped down before you drive in, and hazardous waste isn't accepted there at all. Republic Services, the city's curbside provider, also runs scheduled bulky pickup for a fee along with a couple of unlimited clean-up weeks each year.

We price jobs by how much room your junk takes up in the truck, not by item and not by weight. You get a firm quote on site before anything gets loaded, so there's no guessing at what the final number will be.
