Cleanouts Services in Boise

Every cleanout is a little different. Clearing out a parent's house after they've passed isn't the same job as cleaning up a rental between tenants, and a packed garage doesn't come with the same emotional weight as a hoarding situation. What they share is volume: a lot of stuff has to come out of a space, get sorted, and go somewhere.

Boise's older neighborhoods play into this more than people expect. A lot of the bungalows and Victorians in the North End and East End have been lived in for decades, which means attics, basements, and detached garages that have quietly filled up over the years. The brick ranches across the Bench and West Bench tend to have more basement and garage storage too. Newer homes in West Boise, Southeast Boise, and Barber Valley usually have less built-up clutter, but a full-house or estate cleanout still means working through every closet, cabinet, and crawlspace.

Where everything goes afterward depends on the item. The Ada County Landfill off Seamans Gulch Road takes most household junk, construction debris, yard waste, mattresses, and scrap metal, with separate handling (and separate fees) for tires, old fridges and air conditioners, and household hazardous waste. Loads have to be covered or secured on the drive over - county rules on that are enforced. Boise's curbside program through Republic Services also offers a handful of free bulky-item pickups a year, but that's built for a couple of items at the curb, not a garage or a full house, which is where a dedicated cleanout crew earns its keep.

Boise's rental market keeps eviction and move-out cleanouts a steady part of the work. Property managers and landlords dealing with a tenant who left things behind need the unit emptied and broom-clean fast so it can get back on the market, whether that's a complex near Boise State or a single-family rental out on the Bench.

Hoarding cleanouts need a different pace and a different attitude - patience, no judgment, and a plan for sorting what's salvageable from what isn't. Top Shelf Junk Removal and Demolition handles all of these - estate, house, garage, rental, and hoarding - with a free on-site estimate and a firm price before any work starts.
